Special Education Teacher – Mod/Severe / ESN
Location: Fairfield, CA
Pay: $70–$75 per hour

Schedule: Full-Time, Monday–Friday, 36.5 hours per week
InSync Consulting Services is seeking two qualified Special Education Teachers for Moderate/Severe or Extensive Support Needs classrooms in Fairfield, California. These positions are ideal for compassionate educators experienced in supporting students with significant academic, behavioral, communication, and functional needs.
Available Assignments
- Kindergarten–2nd Grade Mod/Severe / ESN Teacher
- 6th–8th Grade Mod/Severe / ESN Teacher
Responsibilities
- Provide specialized academic instruction to students with moderate to severe disabilities or extensive support needs
- Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs
- Adapt curriculum, instructional strategies, and classroom materials based on student needs
- Support students with communication, behavioral, social-emotional, adaptive, and functional life skills
- Collect data and monitor progress toward IEP goals
- Coordinate and supervise classroom paraprofessionals
- Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with families, administrators, general education teachers, and related-service providers
- Implement behavior-support and classroom-management strategies
- Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with federal, state, and district special education requirements
Required Qualifications
- Valid California Education Specialist Instruction Credential in Moderate/Severe Disabilities or Extensive Support Needs
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution
- Experience supporting students with moderate to severe disabilities or extensive support needs
- Knowledge of IEP development, progress monitoring, behavior support, and special education compliance
- Strong communication, organization, collaboration, and classroom-management skills
- Ability to complete all district and company onboarding requirements
