Job Summary:
The Information Technology (IT) Infrastructure Manager is responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting systems at IDI’s multi-site distribution organization.. This is a working manager role, with hands-on management of IT infrastructure and security, supporting the evaluation and enhancement of business systems, and overseeing third-party IT support, data, and communications vendors. Additionally, the IT Infrastructure Manager directs the HelpDesk and infrastructure staff, providing day-to-day oversight, setting goals and objectives, developing career plans, and offering job performance feedback.
Compensation: $118k - $168K
Responsibilities/Duties:
- Leadership
- Develop, maintain and execute the IT infrastructure roadmap & strategy.
- Lead infrastructure modernization efforts, including cloud migration, network upgrades, and mobility.
- Lead projects, ensuring technology standards and security practices are followed.
- Provide guidance and mentoring to all infrastructure and HelpDesk staff.
- Forecast and manage the IT infrastructure budget.
- Conduct IT feedback sessions with senior leaders.
- Vendor Management
- Develop, maintain, and enhance partner relationships with technology vendors.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, terms and conditions.
- Hold vendors accountable for delivering projects on time and under budget.
- Technical Engineering
- Lead system architecture, design, network configuration, wireless deployments, server management, and troubleshooting.
- Perform hands-on work in virtualization (VMware), cloud services (Azure), identity management (Entra ID), and networking (Fortinet / WatchGuard).
- Develop and maintain all network and systems documentation including network diagrams, standards, and policies.
- Consistently deploy IT assets, such as desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and printers.
- Deploy IT infrastructure to new and relocated branches.
- Infrastructure Operations
- Oversee the HelpDesk, ensuring superior customer experience.
- Manage cloud platforms, voice systems, network infrastructure, storage, and disaster recovery.
- Continuously improve availability, security and performance of infrastructure.
- Develop, track, and present team Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
- Maintain PCI compliance.
- Identify and remediate infrastructure vulnerabilities.
- Other Duties:
- Perform other duties as beneficial to IDI.

Qualifications/Skills:
- Technical Proficiency:
- 5 years of network administration, design and support, including:
- DNS
- Multi-site Wide Area Networks
- VPNs
- Routing
- Multi-layered switching / VLANs
- Firewalls
- TCP/IP
- Wireless access points
- Network monitoring and performance management solutions
- 5 years of experience with Active Directory, M365 Administration, and Entra ID.
- 5 years of experience with Windows Server and VMware administration.
- 3 years of experience with cloud hyper scalers. Microsoft Azure preferred.
- Strong working knowledge of Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) and Managed Detection and Response (MDR) security systems.
- 5 years of network administration, design and support, including:

Salary : $118,000 - $168,000
