Title: Revenue Accountant
Location: Houston, Texas
Duration: 3 to 6 months
Compensation: $50 per hour

Skillset / Experience:
We are seeking a Senior Oil & Gas Revenue Accountant with strong SAP PRA experience and advanced Microsoft Excel skills for a contract opportunity in Downtown Houston. This role will be responsible for handling both operated and non-operated properties and supporting the full revenue accounting cycle.
Responsibilities:
- Perform revenue accounting for both operated and non-operated assets
- Process and review revenue in SAP PRA
- Handle revenue distribution, allocations, and settlements
- Prepare and review monthly revenue journal entries and account reconciliations
- Analyze revenue variances and resolve discrepancies
- Work closely with production, marketing, and joint interest teams
- Assist with month-end close and reporting
- Support audits and provide documentation as needed
- Utilize advanced Excel for data analysis, reconciliations, and reporting
- 5 years of oil & gas revenue accounting experience
- SAP PRA experience required
- Experience with both operated and non-operated properties
- Advanced Excel skills
- Strong understanding of oil & gas revenue processes
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
