Responsibilities:
- Record both operated and non-operated oil and gas sales
- Assist with revenue DOI maintenance
- Preparation and submission of Escheat filings to various states
- Aid with the monthly close process and account reconciliations
- Participate in and contribute to departmental trainings
Qualifications:
- 6 years of experience with and strong working knowledge of Excalibur or similar oil and gas accounting software.
- Excellent in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Office skills.
- Demonstrated ability to complete a variety of highly complex assignments involving specialized knowledge of oil and gas revenue accounting practices.
Education:
- 4-year undergraduate degree (Accounting/Finance) with 6 years of oil and gas revenue accounting or equivalent experience
- High school diploma or GED with 10 years of oil and gas revenue accounting or equivalent experience.
