INSPYR Solutions is partnering with a leading organization in the hospitality industry to identify a Director of Accounting for a permanent opportunity. This is a high-impact leadership role responsible for overseeing accounting operations, ensuring financial integrity, and driving process improvements within a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and oversee all accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, and financial reporting
- Manage and mentor a team of accounting professionals, fostering development and performance
- Direct the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes
- Ensure timely and accurate preparation of financial statements in accordance with GAAP
- Establish and maintain strong internal controls and accounting policies
- Partner with executive leadership on financial strategy, reporting, and business initiatives
- Oversee audit processes and coordinate with external auditors
- Lead budgeting and forecasting efforts in collaboration with finance teams
- Drive process improvements, automation, and system enhancements
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory and reporting requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- CPA required
- 8-12 years of progressive accounting experience, including leadership experience
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and internal controls
- Experience managing full-cycle accounting operations
- Proven leadership and team management skills
- Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or similar)
- Advanced Excel and strong analytical capabilities
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
