This receptionist serves as the first point of contact at Inspire Services LLC in St. Peter, Minnesota. The role includes greeting patients, answering phones, scheduling appointments, verifying insurance, processing payments, and maintaining patient files while ensuring HIPAA compliance.
Key responsibilities

Greet patients warmly and professionally upon arrival.

Answer multi-line phone system and direct calls appropriately.

Schedule and confirm patient appointments.

Manage appointment calendar for providers.

Register new patients and update existing patient information.

Verify insurance coverage and collect co-payments.

Maintain organized and confidential patient files.

Process patient intake forms and documentation.

Coordinate communication between patients and clinical staff.

Handle billing inquiries and payment processing.

Maintain clean, organized, and welcoming reception area.

Support administrative tasks including filing, faxing, and scanning.

Ensure HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality.

Respond to patient questions and concerns with professionalism.

Qualifications
Minimum qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.

Proficiency with computer systems and office software.

Pass background check.

Comply with federal and state laws and organizational policies.

Adhere to data practices policies regarding non-public data per Minnesota Statutes.
Preferred qualifications

Hours of work
Part-time to full-time, 20 to 40 hours per week. Monday through Friday business hours. Schedule determined based on clinic needs.
