Job Summary
We are seeking an organized, detail-oriented, and friendly Seasonal Tax Office Receptionist to be the welcoming face and voice of our busy office during the upcoming tax season. This high-volume, client-facing role is crucial for ensuring smooth daily operations and a positive experience for all clients.
Responsibilities
- Answer, screen and route a high volume of incoming calls with professionalism.
- Schedule appointments & maintain staff calendars.
- Warmly greet all clients and visitors as they arrive at the office.
- Receive incoming mail and client tax documents throughout the day.
- Assist with photocopying, faxing, scanning, and other duties as assigned.
- Address client inquiries and minor issues, directing them to the correct personnel when needed.
Job Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Proven experience in a customer service or fast-paced office environment
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Excellent office organizational skills.
- Ability to multitask with attention to detail
- Ability to observe confidentiality of client data and follow all procedures and guidelines to ensure the consistency and accuracy of completed work
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently on your own initiative under limited supervision
- Computer proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook. Knowledge of or ability to learn other computer applications.
- Ability to walk, bend, stand, or sit for an extended period

Job Types: Full-time, Temporary
Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
