What are the responsibilities and job description for the Beginner Ballet Instructor and Choreographer (Ages 7-10) position at Inspire Dance Company LLC?
Inspire Dance Company is seeking an energetic and experienced ballet teacher who can bring provide technique instruction to our dancers in a way that keeps them curious and invested. We value instructors who know how to create a fun, safe space while pushing dancers to grow technically, artistically, and personally.
The ideal candidate:
- Has experience teaching ballet to multiple age groups and levels, and can adapt choreography and instruction accordingly.
- Prioritizes injury prevention and safe movement practices.
- Cares about the whole dancer—not just their movement, but their confidence, mindset, and well-being.
- Communicates clearly, checks and responds to emails promptly, and takes direction from the studio director with professionalism.
- Can choreograph age-appropriate and engaging routines for recitals. Option for future competition choreography if appropriate.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 2 years of experience teaching ballet in a dance studio setting
- Availability for weekday evenings and/or weekends
