What are the responsibilities and job description for the Middle School Teacher position at Inspire Academy?
Inspire Academy is currently seeking dynamic and dedicated Middle School Teachers to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for teaching Math, Science, ELA, Social Studies, and Health, while creating an engaging and supportive classroom environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach core subjects: ELA, Math, Science, Social Studies, and Health
- Develop and implement weekly lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards
- Design and lead fun and interactive classroom activities to enhance learning
- Foster a positive classroom culture that supports student engagement and growth
- Communicate regularly with parents and staff regarding student progress
- Supervise students during classroom hours and school activities
- Collaborate with colleagues to create a strong, supportive teaching team
Qualifications
- Passion for working with children and helping them grow academically and socially
- Ability to manage and teach a classroom of 6th–8th grade students across multiple subjects
- Strong classroom management and organizational skills
- Experience creating engaging lesson plans and activities
- Prior teaching experience preferred
- Teaching certification preferred or working towards
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
