Outside Sales Representative – Heavy Equipment

Lincoln / Omaha, Nebraska

I'm recruiting on behalf of a well-established, family-owned company with an outstanding reputation that's continuing to invest in its growth throughout Nebraska.

Unlike many sales positions where you're expected to simply maintain an existing territory, this role gives you the opportunity to make your mark. Leadership isn't looking for someone who simply wants another sales job—they're looking for someone who wants to take ownership of a territory and help grow it over the long term.


Approximately 60% of your time will be spent out in the field meeting with customers, visiting job sites, identifying opportunities, and strengthening relationships. The balance of your time will include preparing quotes, following up on opportunities, coordinating orders, maintaining customer information, and helping ensure the Nebraska operation continues to run smoothly. It's a hands-on role, and that's exactly what makes it rewarding.


You'll work with contractors, municipalities, aggregate producers, equipment dealers, commercial agriculture, and other industrial customers who rely on knowledgeable, responsive people to help keep their equipment operating efficiently. Success isn't about being the lowest price—it's about becoming the person your customers trust to help solve problems and keep their businesses moving.


We're especially interested in speaking with professionals who have experience in:

  • Heavy equipment
  • Construction
  • Equipment dealerships
  • Industrial distribution
  • Wear parts
  • Steel products
  • Ground engaging tools (GET)
  • Mining
  • Aggregates
  • Municipal equipment
  • Other related technical or industrial products

Compensation & Benefits

The company is prepared to offer a base salary of approximately $65,000–$75,000, depending on your experience and industry background.


In addition, you'll participate in an uncapped commission plan designed to reward long-term territory growth and new business development. Leadership believes a motivated salesperson who embraces the opportunity to build the Nebraska market should have the potential to earn well into six figures as the territory continues to grow.
