Job Description:
Insight Global is seeking a Yard Manager for a client in Findlay, Ohio. This role is responsible for overseeing and directing the daily activities of yard personnel involved in shipping, receiving, and product handling. The Yard Manager provides hands-on leadership to ensure safe and efficient loading and unloading operations, effective yard and receiving processes, accurate inventory control, proper maintenance of yard equipment, and consistent enforcement of a strong safety culture. This position may supervise up to 15 Yard Loaders and is actively involved in all personnel-related matters, including hiring, training and development, performance management, and disciplinary actions. The role requires flexibility to work 40 hours per week, including weekends as needed, and reports directly to the Plant Manager.
Preferred Experience:
5 years experience as a Yard or Warehouse Manager
Supervisory experience
Salary : $85,000 - $120,000
