Required Skills & Experience:
- 4–8 years of Construction Management experience
- At least 2 years of experience within the telecommunications industry
- Experience managing outside consultants and contractors
- Strong background developing Scopes of Work (SOWs) and Bills of Materials (BOMs)
- Experience with budget tracking and schedule management
- Ability to travel extensively (50%–70%) across Alaska, including remote locations
Nice to Have Skills & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business, Telecommunications, or related field
- Experience supporting LEO satellite deployments (Starlink or similar)
- Construction Management (CCM) or Project Management Professional (PMP) certifications

Job Description:
Insight Global is seeking a Telecommunication Construction Manager II to support our telecommunications client in Alaska. This hybrid role includes about 60% travel throughout Alaska, with flexibility to work remotely when not traveling. This individual will oversee a diverse portfolio of construction projects, including LEO satellite (Starlink) deployments and other wireless infrastructure initiatives, across some of the most remote regions in the state. The role blends hands-on project execution with strategic planning, requiring strong contractor management, budgeting, and scheduling skills.
Essential Duties:
- Manage multiple telecom and wireless construction projects from planning through closeout
- Coordinate and oversee external contractors and consultants to ensure quality and compliance
- Develop and maintain project scopes, schedules, and budgets
- Create and manage SOWs and BOMs, supporting procurement activities as needed
- Track project progress using Gantt and PERT schedules
- Partner with internal stakeholders and external vendors to define project requirements
- Ensure all construction activities meet safety, quality, and regulatory standards
- Maintain thorough and accurate project documentation and reporting
- Provide guidance and support to junior staff and project team member
