Job Description
Insight Global is seeking a highly skilled and hands-on System Administrator to join our client, an American energy storage company, based in Weirton, WV, to support a large-scale manufacturing environment. This individual will help maintain critical infrastructure, provide Tier 3 support, and ensure the stability of systems across a fast-paced and growing organization. The ideal candidate is a versatile infrastructure professional and "jack-of-all-trades" technologist who enjoys working across systems, networking, virtualization, and operational support. They are comfortable in fast-moving environments where priorities may shift throughout the day and can effectively balance planned work with urgent operational needs.
Responsibilities include:
- Provide advanced systems administration support across Windows-based (and some Linux) infrastructure.
- Act as a Tier 3 escalation resource for complex technical issues.
- Assist in triaging and prioritizing support requests, determining when issues should be handled by technicians, escalated, or resolved directly.
- Support Microsoft 365 and hybrid Active Directory/Entra ID environments.
- Assist with user provisioning, account management, and identity management processes.
- Troubleshoot and maintain server, storage, networking, and virtualization environments.
- Support line-of-business (LOB) applications and infrastructure-related projects.
- Partner closely with IT Operations staff to reduce operational bottlenecks and improve system reliability.
- Contribute to infrastructure improvements, deployments, and ongoing operational initiatives.
- Support a variety of ad hoc technical requests across the organization.
Compensation:
$40.00/hr-$52.00/hr
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
