Supply Chain Business Manager
π Locations: Livermore, CA | Fremont, CA | Tualatin, OR
π Duration: 12-Month Contract with potential extensions
π’ Hybrid: 3 days onsite / 2 days remote
βοΈ Travel: Up to 10% (primarily domestic)
We're looking for an experienced Supply Chain Business Manager IV to support a global supply chain organization focused on supplier performance, delivery execution, and operational excellence. This role will partner with suppliers and cross-functional teams to ensure on-time delivery, drive process improvements, and support high-volume manufacturing operations during critical business ramps.
What You'll Be Doing
- Manage supplier performance across commodities including Heaters, Pumps, Linear Motion, COTS, and Distribution
- Drive On-Time Delivery (OTD/OTDP) performance and supplier operational excellence
- Plan, schedule, and monitor material flow through the production cycle to meet demand requirements
- Establish supplier metrics, monitor performance, and drive continuous improvement initiatives
- Partner with suppliers to achieve delivery commitments and support forecasted demand
- Lead process improvements related to procurement, inventory management, and manufacturing strategies (JIT, Kanban, Min/Max, etc.)
- Collaborate with engineering and suppliers to resolve complex supply chain and delivery challenges
- Create presentations, process flows, and business reports to support improvement initiatives
- Monitor supplier costs, support cost reduction efforts, and mitigate unfavorable PPV impacts
- Drive supplier manufacturing improvements to enhance quality and delivery performance
- Represent supplier business management on cross-functional commodity teams
Required Qualifications
- 5 years of experience managing suppliers, global factories, and/or strategic commodities
- Strong supplier management and delivery management experience
- Demonstrated ability to solve complex operational and supply chain challenges
- Experience with ERP systems such as SAP
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills including:
- Pivot Tables
- Macros
- VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP
- Data Analysis & Dashboards
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or related field
Preferred Background
- Experience supporting high-volume manufacturing environments
- Strong analytical and reporting capabilities
- Experience working across global supply chains and supplier networks
Salary : $75 - $77
