Job Description
Insight Global is seeking a highly experienced Accountant/Bookkeeper to join a quickly growing events business generating approximately $4M in annual revenue. This individual will be responsible for owning day-to-day accounting operations and supporting the financial health of the business. The role is fully onsite and focused strictly on office operations.
This is a hands-on position best suited for someone who is comfortable operating independently, managing full-cycle accounting functions, and supporting leadership with accurate and timely financial insights.
Required Skills & Experience
- 3 years of experience as an accountant or bookkeeper handling close to or over $4M in revenue
- Experience in the food or events industry
- Strong hands-on experience with QuickBooks (day-to-day accounting, reporting, reconciliations)
- Experience processing payroll through ADP
- Proven experience managing AP/AR and month-end close
- High level of ownership and ability to work independently
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
- CPA or CPA-eligible
- Experience supporting businesses in weddings or floral industry
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
- Manage full-cycle bookkeeping including general ledger, reconciliations, and financial records
- Perform month-end close processes and financial reviews
- Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable, including invoicing and collections
- Process payroll using ADP and ensure compliance with payroll regulations
- Utilize QuickBooks for daily accounting functions, reporting, and tracking
- Receive and process incoming payments (checks, deposits, etc.)
- Maintain accurate financial documentation and support reporting needs
- Assist with light administrative tasks related to office operations
Schedule and Compensation
- Monday- Friday 9am-5pm
- 9 month contract to hire
- $35/hr.-$45/hr.
- Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
- Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
Salary : $35 - $45
