Must‑Haves
- 4-8 years of proven sourcing/purchasing experience in complex, innovation-driven environments
- IT sourcing expertise (Cloud, Cybersecurity, Network, Hardware, Connectivity)
- Strong ability to build strategic supplier partnerships and negotiate commercial terms
- Experience conducting complex analyses and delivering clear business recommendations
- Strong project management, facilitation, and senior stakeholder engagement skills
- Solid understanding of IT ecosystems, products, and technology contract best practices
- Hands-on experience developing and executing sourcing strategies (e.g., 7-step methodology) and using procurement/sourcing systems
Plusses
- CPM certification or equivalent
Day to Day
This role sits at the center of IT procurement and sourcing activities, where the individual will regularly participate in both internal and external stakeholder meetings focused on coordination across vendors and IT teams. They will be expected to quickly understand business and technical needs from a sourcing perspective and translate those into effective strategies across hardware, software, telecom, and professional services. While they will support RFP efforts, a large portion of the role involves ongoing collaboration with vendors and IT stakeholders across Carnival’s operating companies. The individual will help align sourcing efforts with broader organizational priorities, manage competing interests across different brands, and contribute to developing cohesive, enterprise-wide solutions that drive value and support long-term technology initiatives.
