Service Engineer

JOB DESCRIPTION

A client of Insight Global in the technology and automation sector is seeking a Junior WinCC Service Engineer to assist with various projects relevant to WinCC SCADA based work. This person will be responsible for leverage their technical knowledge of WinCC to serve as a dedicated resource for projects supporting their customer base. This person is going to be assigned to a project team and will be responsible for serving as a leison between the Siemens stakeholder and technology to execute on relevant tasks in WinCC. This person will have the ability to troubleshoot WinCC - fixing screens & scripts - implement WinCC, debugging work and the average project lifecycle is 9 months and completed by a 4-man team.

First 6 months are work from home

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• 3 years of hands on with Siemens WIN CC 7.4 or higher

• Experience in applicable roles such as application engineer, systems engineer or automation consultant

• Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills

• Strong communication skill

NICE TO HAVE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• SQL database experience

• Hands-On Factory Link experience

• Senior technical expertise in automation migration, modernization, or lifecycle projects

• Customer facing experience helping with technical issue

• Ability to work with legacy architectures and protocols
