Insight Global is seeking a hybrid Senior Tax Manager for a direct hire role in the Fairfield, Iowa area. This resource will be pivotal in overseeing tax compliance, planning, and strategy. The position will require understanding of tax regulations, financial concepts and strategies and estate planning. You will be managing a complexity of tax issues as well while working with various departments to ensure accurate financial reporting and providing strategic insights to help client positions.
- Lead and manage the tax compliance process for individuals and businesses, ensuring adherence to local, state, and federal regulations.
- Develop and implement tax strategies that align with client goals, including estate planning and asset management.
- Oversee the preparation of tax returns and ensure accuracy in reporting.
- Conduct thorough balance sheet reconciliations and review financial statements for compliance with requirements.
- Provide guidance on wills, trusts, estate law, and related financial concepts to clients.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support budgeting processes and financial planning initiatives.
- Utilize software tools such as Xero and Quicken for efficient tax preparation and financial management.
- Stay updated on changes in tax legislation and assess their impact on clients’ financial strategies.
Required Skills:
- Certified Public Accountant, CPA
- 8-15 years of experience in tax management
- Proven proficiency in financial concepts, asset management, budgeting, estate planning
- Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret financial data
- Has managed or lead a small team
