Job Description
Insight Global is seeking a Senior Systems / Reliability Engineer to support the verification, validation, and reliability efforts for advanced hardware and software medical device systems. This role is responsible for managing product requirements traceability, supporting validation planning and execution, and analyzing reliability and durability verification activities.
The engineer will work as part of a cross‑functional systems engineering team, partnering with electrical, mechanical, and firmware engineers to achieve system‑level verification goals. This individual will act as a technical leader, contributing to systems integration efforts, reliability testing strategies, and statistical data analysis while ensuring key project milestones are met.
This role is well‑suited for a systems engineer who thrives in a regulated environment, enjoys hands‑on technical problem solving, and is motivated to drive continuous improvement within engineering organizations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Science or Engineering (postgraduate degree preferred)
- 5 years of experience in the medical device industry
- Strong background in systems engineering with mechanical, electrical, and firmware V&V testing experience
- Experience with requirements management, systems integration, and verification testing
- Ability to lead cross‑functional engineering teams and execute independently
Nice to Have:
- Familiarity with IEC standards (60601, 60601‑1, 61010)
- DFSS, statistical test design, and critical parameter management experience
- LabVIEW and test automation experience
- Working knowledge of CAD tools (OrCad, SolidWorks, Cadence)
- Post‑graduate degree
