Senior Network/Load Balancing Engineer

Role Overview

We are seeking a Sr. Network/Load Balancing Engineer to join a highly experienced and collaborative Network Engineering team supporting a large hospital system in Fort Worth, Texas. This role is a backfill due to a team member relocating and will focus heavily on application delivery, load balancing, and web application security in a primarily Cisco-centric environment.

The engineer will support on‑prem data center infrastructure, working closely with senior network engineers to ensure the availability, performance, and security of mission‑critical clinical and business applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and support load balancing solutions in an on‑prem environment
• Administer and support Citrix NetScaler / Citrix ADC and F5 Load Balancers
• Manage and tune:
• Web Application Firewall (WAF)
• Global Server Load Balancing (GSLB)
• Content Switching
• Rewrite & Responder Policies
• Configure and manage:
• SSL certificates
• DNS integration
• Two‑Factor Authentication
• NetScaler Gateway
• Perform network packet capture and traffic analysis for troubleshooting
• Partner with firewall and network teams on:
• Cisco Firepower Firewalls
• Web application security
• Support broader network operations across:
• LAN, WAN, and wireless environments
• Data centers and clinical sites
• Participate in architecture discussions and solution design initiatives
• Support rack‑and‑stack, build, and operational support as needed
