What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Accountant position at Insight Global?
The Senior Accountant will support accounting and financial reporting for rapidly expanding development and construction operations. This role partners closely with Construction, Development, FP&A, and Operations teams to ensure accurate project cost tracking, capitalization, and reporting.
This is a hands-on role for a technically strong accountant with construction or project-based accounting experience. The position operates in a fast-paced, high-growth environment and plays a key role in job cost accounting, capital expenditure tracking, and GAAP compliance for construction-in-progress and fixed assets across multiple states.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
- 4 to 7 years of progressive accounting experience
- Experience with construction, development, or project-based accounting
- Strong understanding of GAAP related to fixed assets, capitalization, and CIP
- Experience improving processes
- ERP system experience
NICE TO HAVE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- CPA license or active CPA candidate
- Master’s degree in Accounting
- Public accounting or audit experience (specifically in construction industry)
- Viewpoint Spectrum experience
Salary : $70,000 - $80,000
