Secret Electronics Assembler

Location: San Diego, CA 92110

Duration: 6 month contract-to-hire

Pay Rate: $40/hr

Required Skills & Experience:

• Active Secret clearance
• 2 yrs recent C4ISR or other relevant experience in troubleshooting, maintenance, repair, installation and deinstallation of electronic systems, equipment, components, antennas, cables, cableways, waveguides and ducts, while using logic analyzers and digital oscilloscopes.
• Experience with through-hole and surface mount soldering techniques
• Micro Miniature (2M) “C” school or IPC-A-610/620 certification
• IPC J-STD Soldering Training Certificate

Job Description:

Supports the overhaul and repair of various C4ISR systems and equipment. Performs technical tasks to assist engineers with electronic systems. Supports efforts to plan, procure, fabricate, remove, install, and complete all mechanical and electrical work efforts. Performs equipment removal, cabling, connectorization, electrical equipment installation, equipment overhauls, fabricating and assembling electronics subassemblies, and calibration checks on electronic instruments. Experienced with using electronics hand tools, microscopes, soldering and de-soldering equipment. Experience in reading assembly instructions and drawings. Provides on-site installation support. Updates technical documentation. Continues to develop working knowledge of all operating standards, practices, and procedures, including safety procedures.
