Job Description
We are seeking a confident and detail-oriented Junior Safety Specialist to support our high-volume manufacturing and installation environment. This individual will play a key role in ensuring contractor/vendor safety compliance, performing site inspections, and enforcing safety standards during tool installations and other high-hazard work. Semiconductor experience is not required — but a solid background in safety, OSHA standards, and on-the-floor safety oversight is essential.
Required Skills & Experience
- 1–3 years of safety experience in manufacturing, construction, energy, or similar high-risk environments.
- Working knowledge of OSHA regulations, Fire Code, and basic safety engineering principles.
- Ability to read and follow detailed safety checklists.
- Comfortable confronting unsafe behavior and enforcing safety requirements.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to work in varied conditions and adjust to shifting priorities.
- Preferred: OSHA 30 (Construction or General Industry), First Aid/CPR, Confined Space, Fall Protection.
