The Safety Specialist is responsible for promoting and enforcing a strong safety culture across all job sites and operations. This role ensures compliance with OSHA regulations, company safety policies, and industry best practices while proactively identifying and mitigating workplace hazards. The ideal candidate will hold an OSHA 500 or OSHA 510 certification.

- Identify and mitigate workplace hazards proactively.
- Conduct safety training and job site audits.
- Document and communicate safety procedures and findings effectively.
- OSHA 500 or OSHA 510 certification.
- 5 years of experience in a safety role within construction, industrial, or manufacturing environments.
- Strong working knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety management systems.
- Experience conducting safety training and job site audits.
- Ability to work in the field and travel to job sites as required.
- Strong communication, documentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in construction safety and health & safety compliance.
- Skills in safety management and conducting safety audits.
This position will be working onsite at Global Foundries in Malta, NY, with a schedule of 50 hours a week, Monday to Friday from 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with occasional Saturdays. The role involves working on cutting-edge advanced technology projects.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $40.00 - $50.00/hr.
