Drafter

We are seeking a skilled Drafter with a strong background in architectural design and drafting. The ideal candidate will have experience in using Revit and AutoCAD software and will be adept at translating architectural design concepts into detailed technical drawings.

• Translate architectural design concepts into technical drawings.
• Create floor plans, elevations, building sections, and construction details.
• Assist with the layout and organization of construction document sets for review and permitting.
• Produce 3D models and rendered elements as needed.
• Prepare presentation documents to support internal reviews and client meetings.
• Quickly sketch and model design concepts and alternatives.
• Efficiently draft multiple design options when requested.
• Apply critical thinking, communication, and problem-solving skills to develop creative, buildable design outcomes.
• Demonstrate an understanding of building construction, drafting tools, and building techniques.

• Minimum 2–3 years of professional Revit experience.
• Minimum 2–3 years of AutoCAD experience for collaboration and legacy projects.
• Proficiency with general office software including Word, Excel, and Outlook.

• Experience with SketchUp for 3D modeling is preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with Chief Architect drafting software is an advantage.
• Skills in interior design and architectural drafting.

The work environment is dynamic and collaborative, utilizing technologies such as Revit and AutoCAD to create detailed architectural designs. The position requires proficiency with general office software and a willingness to produce high-quality presentation documents for both internal reviews and client meetings.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Bismarck, ND.

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00/hr.
