Title: Reliability and Asset Management Engineer
Hybrid: 1-2 days onsite in Spencer, IN
Duration: Permanent, direct hire
Shift/Hours: M-F, 7-3 PM EST (Flexible)
Salary Range: $95,000 – 140,000 (slight flex)
Interview Process: 1 & Done Onsite or Virtual
Location: 211 IN-43, Spencer, IN 47460
MUST HAVES:
- 5 years of either Transmission Line, Reliability, Power Systems, Protection and Controls Engineering, Distribution lines, or GnT Engineering
- Experience working with large power equipment/voltages as this person will be responsible for specking Transmission Station Equipment
- High level of communication cross functionally
Plusses:
- Experience working in the energy and utility industry – specifically Generation and Transmission
- Experience working with Analytics software – BI360, Adept, Etc.
- Experience creating preventative/predictive maintenance plans for either Transmission lines, Distribution lines, or Power systems equipment
- Bachelors Degree
About the Role:
Insight Global is looking for an experienced Reliability and Asset Management engineer to support one of our energy/utility’s clients. This person will manage a multitude of projects from start to finish. This person will largely be focused on the reliability of Transmission station equipment and large breakers.
They will be responsible with monitoring the reliability of both current and future Transmission lines, doing things like tracking the condition of these transmission lines, the structures attached, components within (conductors, insulators, towers), and analyzing failure trends, outage data, and reliability metrics (SAIDI, SAIFI, forced outages).
They will also be tasked with creating and modifying current preventative maintenance plans for these lines. Being able to identify high-risk assets and prioritize upgrades and replacements are also crucial.
Salary : $95,000 - $140,000
