Insight Global is looking for a hands-on QA Automation Leader who can manage teams while still being technically involved in automation strategy, frameworks, and testing execution. The person will oversee quality for video and In-Home Wi-Fi products and lead both onshore and offshore QA resources.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Lead QA automation efforts for Video and Wi-Fi products.
- Manage onshore QA testers, offshore automation engineers, and a QA Lab Technician.
- Drive automation framework development and CI/CD integration.
- Oversee testing of:
- Set-Top Boxes (STBs)
- Wi-Fi Routers
- Mesh Networks
- Gateway Devices
- Connected Consumer Hardware
- Review quality metrics, automation coverage, defects, and release readiness.
- Partner with Engineering, Product, Operations, and AI Quality teams to improve testing processes.
- Help implement AI-powered QA tools and automation capabilities.
Must-Have Requirements
5 years of QA experience with a strong focus on test automation.
2 years of leadership experience managing:
- QA Engineers
- QA Teams
- Offshore Teams
- Vendors or Distributed Resources
Hands-on automation experience with tools such as:
- Python
- Selenium
- Appium
- Robot Framework
- Pytest
- Java
- JavaScript
Experience testing:
- Embedded Devices
- Firmware
- Consumer Hardware
- Network-Connected Devices
- Telecommunications Equipment
Experience with:
- CI/CD Pipelines
- DevOps Environments
- Automated Regression Testing
