About the Company
The QA Auditor I is responsible for conducting final audits, labeling, packaging inspections, and quality checks of systems, upgrades, and miscellaneous kits prior to shipment. This role requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams including Manufacturing, Manufacturing Engineering, Master Scheduling, Production Control, Material Handlers, Dock Personnel, and Packing Contractors to ensure timely and accurate product shipments.
About the Role
Major Job Functions:
- Perform final quality audits on systems, upgrades, and miscellaneous ship kits.
- Audit materials against Bills of Materials (BOMs).
- Evaluate packaging quality and ensure compliance with standards.
- Conduct visual inspections of part quality.
- Verify proper labeling of all parts.
- Consolidate piece parts into designated shipping bins.
- Collaborate with Production Control and Manufacturing Engineering to resolve discrepancies.
- Coordinate material movement from clean room environments.
- Create and maintain detailed Plant Clearance audit records.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in QA, auditing, packaging, or plant clearance.
- Manufacturing or semiconductor industry experience is a plus but not required.
- No formal degree required.
- Candidates must explain any employment gaps longer than 3 months.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in SAP software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Access).
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
