JOB DESCRIPTION
A leading financial services client is seeking a Program Leader to drive delivery of strategic technology initiatives within their Financial Markets organization. This role operates at the intersection of business, technology, and risk, leading complex programs supporting global financial products and treasury functions. The Program Leader will partner with business stakeholders, engineering teams, and Risk & Compliance to ensure successful delivery aligned with enterprise and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end delivery of large, multi-project programs aligned to business and technology goals
- Manage program financials including budgeting, forecasting, and resource planning
- Coordinate across business, technology, and risk teams to ensure alignment and execution
- Oversee governance, executive reporting, and regulatory deliverables
- Manage intake and onboarding of new initiatives within enterprise change processes
- Track program health (timeline, risks, budget) and communicate status to senior leadership
- Translate business needs into technical solutions in partnership with engineering teams
- Drive cross-functional collaboration across delivery, architecture, and change management
Required Skills & Experience
- 3–7 years of experience working cross-functionally across business and technology teams
- Experience supporting large-scale data platform or Hadoop migrations
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with ability to engage senior leadership
- Proven problem-solving, critical thinking, and attention to detail
- Ability to influence without direct authority and drive alignment across stakeholders
- Strong collaboration skills in fast-paced, high-pressure environments
- Experience facilitating meetings, governance forums, and workshops
- Proactive mindset with strong ownership and accountability
