Job Description:
Insight Global is looking for a Procurement Specialist to support a large energy client. Employees at this level solve more complex problems, with some areas of specialization, with general direction from Management. Manage the procurement of products and services that align with Business Unit requirements and standards. Incumbents are expected to develop advanced skills and the ability to work with greater independence. They effectively apply fundamental concepts and procedures to work that are fairly complex and varied.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as primary online coordinator and participate in weekly duty rotation for after-hours/weekend support
- Qualify to approve purchase requisitions, issue POs/contracts, and manage material tracking and expediting
- Deliver advanced procurement services: vendor management, invoice resolution, pricing, logistics, and bid events
- Guide business unit on sourcing strategies, cost control, and materials management
- Build and maintain supplier relationships, negotiate savings, and ensure compliance with agreements
- Act as liaison between suppliers and business unit; provide material status updates and customer support
- Ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and corporate standards
- Analyze supplier performance and manage reporting (daily, monthly, quarterly)
- Occasionally provide 24/7 plant coverage during outages and online operations per schedule
Schedule: 4 - 10-hour days, 7:00 am to 5:30 pm

Salary : $85,000 - $92,000
