Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Paralegal to support with legal research, document preparation, and case management. This role plays a critical part in ensuring matters are handled efficiently, accurately, and in compliance with applicable laws and deadlines. The ideal candidate is proactive, dependable, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced legal environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform legal research and gather relevant statutes, regulations, and case law to support ongoing matters.
- Draft, review, and organize legal documents such as pleadings, contracts, correspondence, and discovery materials.
- Assist attorneys with case preparation, including trial binders, exhibits, and witness coordination.
- Manage and maintain electronic and physical case files to ensure accuracy and accessibility.
- File documents with courts and government agencies and track critical deadlines.
- Coordinate with clients, court personnel, and outside counsel as needed.
- Schedule meetings, hearings, and depositions and maintain attorney calendars.
- Support compliance, administrative, or regulatory tasks depending on practice area.
Qualifications
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred; Paralegal certificate is a plus.
- 2 years of experience in a paralegal or legal support role (practice-area specific experience preferred).
- Strong knowledge of legal terminology, documentation, and court procedures.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal document management systems.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple deadlines independently.
Salary 70,000 - 80,000
Contract: 6 months
