Outbound Warehouse Manager

Overview

Our client is seeking a hands-on Outbound Manager to lead high-volume warehouse operations within a fast-paced 3PL environment. This is a key leadership opportunity for someone who thrives on the warehouse floor, enjoys developing teams, and is motivated to grow into a broader operations leadership role. As part of a planned succession strategy, this position offers a clear path to Operations Manager and exposure to strategic business operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily outbound warehouse operations supporting 45 clients and over 1 million SKUs

• Manage and develop Dispatch Supervisors and warehouse personnel

• Drive performance across key operational metrics including order turnaround, inventory accuracy, productivity, labor utilization, and SLA compliance

• Oversee outbound volume peaks of up to 150,000 orders per month

• Coach, mentor, and develop frontline leaders and warehouse teams

Qualifications

• 3 years of leadership experience within a 3PL, logistics, distribution, fulfillment, or warehouse operations environment

• Proven experience leading outbound warehouse operations

• Strong understanding of KPIs, reporting, and performance management

• Experience with labor planning, workforce optimization, and resource allocation

• Strong analytical skills with experience using operational data to drive improvements

• Experience utilizing WMS and other warehouse management systems
