Role Summary
Insight Global is seeking an Operator to sit onsite at an Automotive Client in Dover, Ohio. You are responsible for supporting daily production activities, learning manufacturing processes, and ensuring parts are built safely and correctly to meet customer standards.
(This role can pay $22–26 based on years of experience)
Key Responsibilities
- Perform assembly, packaging, or material handling tasks according to work instructions
- Operate basic production equipment and hand tools safely
- Inspect parts for visible defects or quality issues and report concerns
- Follow standard work, safety procedures, and quality guidelines
- Meet production and output targets for assigned workstations
- Maintain a clean and organized work area (5S)
- Support teamwork and communicate issues to leads or supervisors
- Assist with continuous improvement and training as needed
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 1–2 years of experience in manufacturing, assembly, or warehouse environment
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
- Basic mechanical aptitude; experience with hand tools
- Reliable, punctual, and comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30–40 lbs
- Willingness to work assigned shifts and overtime as needed
