MEP Superintendent – Job Description
Role Summary
The MEP Superintendent is responsible for coordinating and managing all mechanical, electrical, and controls activities related to construction startup and commissioning, ensuring systems are completed safely, on schedule, and per contract documents.
Responsibilities
- Support bidding of mechanical and electrical trades
- Manage MEP equipment procurement
- Develop and maintain MEP critical path schedules
- Coordinate critical MEP construction, startup, and commissioning activities
- Track and manage equipment deliveries
- Review mechanical and electrical submittals
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction, Engineering, or Business preferred
- Equivalent experience accepted
- 4 years experience in mechanical or electrical system construction
- 3 years combined experience in one or more of:
- Mission critical construction
- Hospital construction
- MEP project management
- MEP startup and commissioning
Compensation: $50-65/hour per diem
