Position: Medical Collections Specialist
Location: Columbia, MD - 3 days per week onsite
Duration: Full time, permanent role
Project: AR Collections and Billing
Compensation: $24/hour, opportunity for quarterly bonus, holiday bonus.
Required Skills & Experience
- Experience with Cigna, Aetna, billing, AR collections, and medical coding
- Experience working with Insurances - UHC, Medicare, Cigna, Aetna, etc.
- Experience with AR Collections
- Daily volume that is extremely high/fast paced 18-24 - on the upside of 30 accounts per day
- Complexity - billing and collections
Job Description
As a Medical Billing and Collections Specialist, you will provide administrative support in the billing and collections function of the medical revenue cycle process. Responsibilities include preparing new charges, completing insurance verification, maintaining patient records, and collecting on outstanding accounts receivable.
Salary : $23 - $25
