Marketing & Event Manager

One of our clients is seeking a permanent Marketing & Event Manager to join their growing team in Richmond, VA (onsite position) and be responsible for the development, execution, and management of both physical and digital brand experiences across their company and their three business units. This role plays a critical part in ensuring the delivery of impactful, differentiated, and on-brand experiences that align with the company's people-first culture and enterprise-wide strategic initiatives. This individual will lead the creation of: strategic event management program designed to deliver memorable and brand-aligned event experiences, digital strategies that are measurable, innovative, and integrated across various platforms, physical and digital experiences that drive engagement and brand differentiation. This role will also work with cross-functional teams to deliver experiences that elevate brand identity while supporting organizational objectives. Other Responsibilities Include:

Event Management

• Lead the development of a strategic, scalable event management program that supports both internal and external events, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and brand standards.
• Oversee the Milestone Program, celebrating associates' and customers' contributions in ways that are meaningful, memorable, and aligned with the company's mission.

Leadership

• Lead cross-functional teams, including external vendor partners, in the development and execution of physical and digital experiences that support internal and external audiences.
• Collaborate across teams to create and implement digital promotional strategies, including new product and service offerings, and social media strategies.
• Build and foster collaborative relationships grounded in trust, reliability, and mutual understanding with internal and external stakeholders.

Digital Marketing

• Lead the digital marketing strategy to create immersive and memorable online experiences across multiple platforms, including web, mobile, social media, and email.
• Ensure alignment with enterprise-wide strategies and develop innovative digital solutions that enhance synergy between online channels and traditional marketing efforts.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications or a related field of study
• Minimum 10 years of related work experience with marketing and event management
• Experience with digital marketing creation and strategy across multiple platforms
• Small to large scale event planning experience
• Strong event vendor and external partnership management experience

Salary: $120,000-$155,000

Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
