Role Summary
Insight Global is seeking a Maintenance Technician to sit onsite at an Automotive Client in Dover, Ohio. You are responsible for supporting daily production activities, learning manufacturing processes, and ensuring parts are built safely and correctly to meet customer standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production equipment
- Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues to minimize downtime
- Respond to equipment breakdowns and support line uptime
- Complete inspections and document maintenance activities
- Support equipment setup, changeovers, and adjustments
- Follow safety and lockout/tagout procedures
- Communicate issues and repairs to production and leadership teams
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical training preferred
- 1–4 years of maintenance or manufacturing equipment experience
- Basic knowledge of mechanical and/or electrical systems
- Familiarity with preventive maintenance practices
- Ability to read manuals, instructions, or basic schematics
- Comfortable working in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment
- Able to lift 40–50 lbs and stand for extended periods
