Job Description

Insight Global is partnering with a large food manufacturing client to hire a Maintenance Technician to join their Columbus, California facility. This is a full-time, direct-hire opportunity supporting 3rd shift (Sunday–Thursday, starting at 8:00 PM), with overtime eligibility. In this role, the Maintenance Technician will be responsible for performing preventive maintenance and troubleshooting emergency repairs on a variety of processing and packaging equipment, including large slicers, grinders, and stuffing equipment. The ideal candidate will be adaptable across multiple machine types, comfortable working in a cold food production environment, and able to work independently during off-shift hours. This team is particularly interested in candidates with strong electrical troubleshooting experience, as well as prior manufacturing maintenance experience (food manufacturing preferred but not required). A strong safety mindset—specifically around lockout/tagout procedures—is essential.
