Maintenance Lead

Position: Maintenance Group Lead

Pay Rate: $32-38/hour

Duration: 12 month contract with potential extension or permanent conversion

Location: Brookeville, OH 45309

Required Skills & Experience:

• 1–3 years of supervisory experience (managing 5 people)
• High volume manufacturing environment
• Experience supervising in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
• Technical electrical and mechanical maintenance aptitude
• Strong safety experience - ensuring a culture of safety and compliance across all maintenance operations
• Ability to prioritize tasks, manage time effectively, and uphold high standards of safety, quality, and efficiency
• Comfortable working 1st shift: 6 AM-2 PM (9 hour shifts) and every weekend (Saturday/Sunday) besides 1 weekend per month - will support vacation relief so one week may be on another shift (2nd or 3rd) but mainly days

• Managing union employees, IUE or UAW

Job Description:

We are seeking a hands-on and driven Maintenance Group Lead to oversee machining operations across a full production floor, encompassing two specialized departments. This role will lead a team of six skilled trades professionals: three electrical and three mechanical, ensuring smooth operations, timely updates, and execution of preventative maintenance plans. The Maintenance Group Lead will be responsible for maintaining high performance and safety standards, managing timekeeping and payroll accuracy, and driving accountability across the team. This position requires a proactive leader who thrives in a fast paced manufacturing environment and is committed to operational excellence. This is a full-time role, typically working Monday through Saturday, averaging around 45 hours per week.
