What are the responsibilities and job description for the Logistics Coordinator position at Insight Global?
Must Haves:
- 2-5 years of experience in logistics, manufacturing, warehouse, or supply chain environments
- Bilingual in Spanish- ability to communicate with Spanish-speaking teams daily
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow and verify process steps and documentation
- Comfortable working on feet for extended periods and able to lift up to 40 lbs
- Reliable and able to work onsite in Milpitas, CA (8 hours/day)
- Strong communication and organizational skills
Plusses:
- Exposure to SAP or similar inventory/shipment tracking systems
Day to Day:
- Serve as the primary point of contact between manufacturing teams and third-party crating/shipping vendors
- Verify equipment readiness and ensure all required quality checks and documentation are complete prior to shipment
- Monitor and support crating activities to ensure adherence to specifications and handling requirements
- Communicate clearly with Spanish-speaking vendor teams to prevent misalignment and resolve issues in real time
- Track shipments, maintain documentation, and update systems (SAP or similar) as needed
- Identify gaps or inconsistencies in the shipping/crating process and escalate as needed
- Support general logistics coordination and onsite operational needs
