Job Description
A leading company in the commercial space industry is looking for a Sr Linux Administrator to join their growing corporate IT Team. This company builds and delivers the future of space transportation, destinations and infrastructure, offering “space-as-a-service” in support of the new space economy. In this role, you will be a crucial asset to the team in setting the standards and direction they follow within their Linux environment. You will be responsible for deploying linum operating systems on servers and workstations, working with dev tools to automat day to day activities, user support for development teams, and working with cyber as it relates to cyber standards. You will evaluate the interface between hardware and software, operational requirements, and characteristics of their systems to correct deficiencies and produce effective data handling, integrity, and storage. This is a contract position through the end of July 2025, with opportunity to convert to an FTE with the company. Health, dental, vision and a 401K are offered throughout the contract period.
