Lead AV Technician
Location: Suwanee, GA
Rate: $35/hr-$45/hr
Overview
Seeking a hands-on Lead AV Technician to support large-scale commercial AV installations. This role will lead field installation efforts, coordinate with project teams, and ensure high-quality execution on active construction sites. Installation will be the primary focus, with potential growth into a superintendent-level role.
Responsibilities
- Lead AV installation activities on commercial projects.
- Install, test, and troubleshoot audio visual systems.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings.
- Coordinate with project managers, contractors, and field teams.
- Ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and to quality standards.
- Provide guidance and support to junior technicians.
Qualifications
- 10 years of commercial AV installation experience.
- 2–3 years of experience leading crews or serving as a Lead AV Technician.
- Strong knowledge of AV systems, installation methods, and troubleshooting.
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Experience working on commercial construction projects.
- CTS-I certification preferred.
Open to strong Senior AV Technicians ready to step into a lead role.
Salary : $35 - $45
