Senior Infrastructure Engineer / Tier III (MSP) – Remote w/ Client Visits - 2 Openings

Engagement: Contract-to-Hire (open to direct hire for the right candidate)
Compensation: $100K–$120K salary (or $45–$53/hr contract)
About the Role
Our client is hiring 2 Senior Infrastructure Engineers (Tier III) to support a growing Managed Services client base across the NYC metro area. This is a hands-on, client-facing role focused on Microsoft 365, Azure, and core network infrastructure support.
You’ll split your time between remote support and onsite client visits (2–3 days/week), helping organizations maintain and modernize their IT environments.
What You’ll Do
- Provide Tier II/III support across client environments, resolving complex infrastructure, cloud, and network issues
- Administer and support Microsoft 365 (user management, licensing, Intune, Conditional Access)
- Support Azure environments, including Azure Virtual Desktop, cloud services, and AD
- Perform light network administration (firewalls, routers, switches, wireless) across tools like FortiGate, SonicWall, Cisco, Ubiquiti, and Sophos
- Assist with IT projects, upgrades, and implementations
- Deliver a mix of remote troubleshooting and onsite support
- Communicate directly with clients, providing high-quality service and technical guidance
- Document systems, tickets, and configurations accurately
- Participate in an on-call rotation (weekends/holidays)
Required Experience
- 4 years in Tier II/III support, Systems Admin, or Infrastructure Engineering
- Experience in an MSP or client-facing IT environment
- Strong hands-on experience with:
- Microsoft 365 (O365, Intune, Conditional Access)
- Azure (Virtual Desktop, AD, cloud services)
- Working knowledge of networking fundamentals (firewalls, switches, routing, wireless)
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Valid driver’s license reliable transportation (regular client visits required)
Nice to Have
- Microsoft certifications (Modern Work / M365 / Azure)
- Experience supporting multi-client environments
