What are the responsibilities and job description for the Human Resources Generalist position at Insight Global?
Seeking an HR Generalist to support a large 24/7 manufacturing operation during an evolving organizational integration and change management effort. This individual will serve as a key HR resource for employees and managers, supporting areas such as compensation planning, employee transactions, recruiting administration, policy management, HR reporting, onboarding/offboarding, and employee relations.
The role is highly operational and requires someone comfortable working directly with plant leadership and employees in a manufacturing setting while navigating multiple HR systems and evolving processes.
Qualifications
- 5 years of well-rounded HR Generalist experience
- Experience supporting manufacturing, distribution, warehousing, logistics, construction, or other industrial environments
- Strong understanding of the full employee lifecycle, including onboarding, employee changes, compensation actions, and offboarding
- Experience working within HRIS platforms such as SAP, SuccessFactors, ADP, UKG, or Workday
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel, Outlook, Word, and Teams
- Ability to communicate effectively with employees, supervisors, and leadership at all levels
- Experience interpreting, updating, and administering HR policies and procedures
