Insight Global is looking to add an HR Generalist to our client’s team located in Atchison, KS supporting their manufacturing facility. This person will be responsible for a broad range of human resource functions, including employee relations, payroll administration, recruiting, onboarding, compliance, and HR operations. They will work closely with plant leadership, helping to attract, develop, and retain talent while fostering a positive and engaging work environment. They will provide guidance to managers on employee relations matters such as coaching, performance management, disciplinary actions, conflict resolution, and career development. They will also conduct exit interviews, analyze employee feedback and turnover trends, and recommend improvements that enhance employee engagement and retention. They will also be responsible for payroll processing and compliance. They’ll process weekly payroll, reconcile and verify employee timecards, ensuring pay accuracy for items such as shift differentials, lead pay, and training pay, and maintaining employee schedules within the timekeeping system. They will also manage employee leave tracking, including PTO, bereavement, and jury duty, while maintaining accurate personnel and payroll records for current and former employees. This person will support full-cycle recruiting and onboarding efforts for hourly and operational positions. This includes conducting phone screenings, administering pre-employment assessments, coordinating interviews, completing reference checks, and arranging background checks, drug screenings, and physicals as needed. They will prepare new hire paperwork, ensuring all onboarding documentation is completed prior to start dates, and coordinating new employee orientation activities.
