What are the responsibilities and job description for the HL7 Analyst - Epic Bridges position at Insight Global?
Hours: M‑F, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM CST, one or two days remote
Must Haves
- 5 years of experience building healthcare interfaces using enterprise integration engines
- Epic Bridges experience
- Rhapsody Certification
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field
Plusses
- Data conversion experience (Cerner → Epic)
- Epic Bridges Certification
- Additional Epic or integration certifications
Day‑to‑Day Responsibilities
- Full project life‑cycle development of HL7, EDI, or other data‑type interfaces using Epic Bridges, Rhapsody, and related integration tools
- Partner with Epic application teams and business stakeholders on large‑scope initiatives by gathering requirements, developing test plans, and ensuring data accuracy
- Analyze, support, and maintain existing and planned HL7 and non‑HL7 integrations, with a focus on efficiency and standards
- Provide production support to maintain enterprise data integrity
- Serve as an active contributor within Information Services teams while promoting a positive, collaborative environment
- Work independently across all phases of interface analysis and development with minimal supervision
- Review upgrade documentation related to integration features and evolving business requirements
- Escalate risks, hard stops, and technical barriers to the Integration Manager as needed
- Provide mentorship and guidance to other team members to ensure timely and effective integration delivery
- Adhere to IT standards for methodology, quality assurance, and security
Salary : $60,000 - $105,000
