Junior Analyst (Financial Admin)

Location: Salem, NH

Schedule: 100% onsite, 5 days per week

Pay Rate: up to $25.33/hr

Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Junior Analyst to support a team responsible for reviewing financial and tax-related records, quality control processes, and operational workflows. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys research, problem-solving, working with data, and ensuring accuracy in a fast-paced environment.

The position offers exposure to financial operations, tax record validation, quality control, and business process analysis while working closely with internal systems and cross-functional teams.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Review and quality check approximately 250-300 outgoing packages daily for address and mail type accuracy.
• Utilize Excel, internal systems, and AI-powered tools to research and validate tax records related to retirement account distributions.
• Analyze information and determine appropriate resolutions using available resources and documentation.
• Support business process improvements through data review and problem solving.
• Learn core mailroom functions and provide coverage as needed.
• Assist with check processing activities and transaction creation within payment processing systems.
• Maintain high levels of accuracy while handling sensitive financial information.
• Work independently while escalating issues when appropriate.

Required Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Experience using Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office products.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Comfortable learning new systems and processes.

Preferred Qualifications

• Exposure to Microsoft Copilot or AI-assisted productivity tools.
• Experience working with financial, tax, banking, payroll, or retirement-related data.
• Prior quality control, operations, administrative, or analyst experience.
• Knowledge of 401(k) or retirement plan concepts is helpful but not required.
