What are the responsibilities and job description for the Fiber Splicer position at Insight Global?
Insight Global is hiring a full-time fiber splicer in San Angelo, TX or the surrounding area. The fiber splicer will: Perform precise fiber optic splicing and termination to connect and repair fiber optic cables. Assist in the installation and maintenance of outside plant fiber optic networks, including cable placement and testing. Follow detailed work orders and blueprints to ensure accurate and efficient project completion. Conduct routine inspections and troubleshooting to identify and resolve network issues. Adhere strictly to safety guidelines and company policies while working on job sites.
Must Have:
- At least 3 years as a Fiber Splicer or a Fiber Splicing certification
