Entry Level Machine Operator

Thomson Instrument Company is seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Production Machine Operator to support manufacturing operations on the second shift. Thomson Instrument is a leading provider of precision manufacturing solutions serving highly regulated industries, including medical device and life sciences organizations. This role is ideal for candidates who thrive in a fast-paced production environment and are committed to maintaining quality, efficiency, and safety standards.

Candidates must have proficiency in Spanish, either bi-lingual or fluent Spanish.

We are open to candidates with no previous experience open to learning the manufacturing Machine Operator skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor production machinery to ensure safe, efficient, and consistent manufacturing processes.
• Verify all part numbers, quantities, and lot numbers listed on lot series hierarchy sheets for accuracy.
• Confirm that all staged and issued components match work order requirements.
• Report any damaged, missing, or incorrect materials to the Shift Lead immediately.
• Perform visual inspections of products daily to identify contamination, defects, or rejected components.
• Conduct counts of all unused materials once a production order is completed or closed.
• Notify the Shift Lead regarding materials requiring return-to-stock (RTS) processing.
• Follow established production procedures, quality standards, and safety protocols.
• Maintain accurate production documentation and records.
• Assist with basic troubleshooting and operational issues related to production equipment.
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals and deadlines.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area in compliance with manufacturing standards.
