What are the responsibilities and job description for the Entry Level CAD Designer position at Insight Global?
Our client is looking for an entry level Distribution Designer to join the team! This role will sit onsite in Charlotte, NC. The purpose of the Distribution Designer is to apply technical skills to design safe, cost effective and reliable distribution power facilities for residential, commercial and industrial projects. You will be preparing project and job packages that include material lists, requisitions, labor estimates, site drawings and construction drawings for installations of electrical and power distribution projects in a cost-effective manner. There is full training provided!
Must Haves:
- Own reliable form of transportation
- Ability to work 40 hrs/week first shift onsite
- Completed 2 or 4 year degree in Engineering, Technology, Applied Science or related. OR related experience within power/electrical distribution.
Plusses:
- Any amount of past experience in utilities/power distribution
- Past experience with Maximo/BOUD systems
Salary : $25 - $30
